For outpatient clinics, is Dragon still the safest default, or is Microdoc better when the end product is a corrected letter rather than a raw dictation?

Dragon is still fast when I know exactly what I want to say, but the correction and letter workflow is where Microdoc feels more complete.

The secretarial queue is the deciding factor for us. Raw dictation still leaves a lot of invisible admin.

I would not dismiss Dragon. For some clinicians, command dictation is familiar and accurate. The question is whether the rest of the clinic can use it without extra work.

Microdoc gives me a clearer draft to work from. I spend less time chasing context after clinic.
